Good People who Entertain
Just like you can be thrown by assumptions and undeliverables in a service or a person (see my last entry), you can also be pleasantly surprised by a good egg popping up and I don't mean the kind you fry in a pan.A friend of mine who is a top chef at a local restaurant did the right thing by paying a company bill out of his own pocket and I met a sales person tonight who actually cares more about her clients well being and success than she does about the dollar bills in her pocket. Everyone knows....OK the successful ones know that you have to do the right thing by the people around you or absolutely nothing good comes back to you. You may survive and may even thrive for awhile but everything catches up!! And the money? It always comes back if you follow the high path. My chef friend may be opening up a new restauarant soon and guess who is on his side even more now...yes that is me! And that sales person I met tonight made me a believer in her product!
Good for everyone who does the right thing...it seems rare when you see it but when you do find it, the quality shines brightly!
By the way, a fun, quick, family/casual restaurant I found was Pompadoro Pizza in Old Greenwich.
